window trim molding

Hi where can I buy the piece of rubber moldings that is on the door (cat whiskers) where the window goes up, there is one inside and one outside the dealer says $30 a piece

has anybody found a better price on these. Dealer calls them bell moldings.

Also need to know where to buy a good quality brake rotors 4x4

any suggestions

Window wiskers

I got the ones for my M-880 at the local pick and pull junkyard. I don't even remember if they ever charged me for them. Practice yankin' one or two bad ones off, then go for the ones you want. You'll have a better, straighter set and will be better at it when it counts. Good luck, happy hunting.

Hi Dieselbuzz I am getting my truck out of body shop next week and was hoping to find some new ones I have went to local junk yard before for them on my 1990 I just want this one my 1992 to be perfect .

$30 each is cheap!

My local stealer grabbed me $39 last summer for mine. That is the one that clips to the lower edge of the window opening. (There are 2 part numbers... one part # for the left outer and right inner, another # for the other pair).

Then I F'ed one up during the install. I put a small tear in it. (didn't practise enough)

Went to get another and he told me there were none in stock in the US anywhere (in the distribution system)

I need to check back again with him to see if the item is back in production and in stock.

I think JC Whitney sells these pretty cheaply. Granted, I don't what the build quality is.

I put in the JC Whitney ones about 6 months ago. Am having them ripped out and replaced by the body shop. They are using OEM parts. The JC ones were not the best quality. Same with the door gaskets except they didn't even last a month. Replaced them with OEM and all is fine. OEM is the only way to go with these items.
