window trim

I have a 1995 extend cab duelly. The black rubber trim along the outside of the window has rotted. To be more precise, the metal clip part molded inside has rotted. Salt here is just awfull (N. E. )

Anyway, looks simple to replace, but Ive had no luck finding it, and I have a friend with a 97, basicly the same molding, same trouble. Im going to do a freshen up body work paint thing this fall, if I could find this it would make things nicer.

Also, found the mid body molding fairly cheap through a body shop supply place. Not exactly OEM, but looks very close.

One more thing, I stumbled on some very very good alloy brake line material, again with the salt corrosion. Anyone interested in this stuff, let me know.

I was looking at moparparts.com a couple of months ago but they dont list it any more.

I think the price was around the same.



Mine have gone too, just the rubber and a few flakes of rust underneath



Here in Quebec we get the the same if not more salt than you do.
