Oh happy day

Winter Job Options

I never did get the whole thing off the computer. So I figured I'd just reload windows and wipe it. I have backups. Got part way through the reload and then the computer couldn't find the source drive with the windows disk! I turned the computer off after a while and figured I'd start again. No worky! It kept telling me to restart but wouldn't let me. Computer is now at the computer shop!:{

Turns out, according to the computer guys, that SPYZOOKA is also a rogue spyware/malware nasty. They're all in it together!

Uh, AMINK

I sure hope not. I downloaded it and it got rid of that antivirus malware. I was able to re-boot the computer and Spyzooka did the job.

I might not listen to your computer guys... .

Beware the process names might be slightly different than posted. I know the machine I serviced had files and processes called something like "wav2008".

I got the problem solved! I got an IMac. Have never heard anything bad about them. I'm hoping that I might be able to get some of the info off my old machine, but the important stuff was backed up. BTW, BNH4221, check in your Control Panel and see if there is anything left from WA2008. That's where I found leftovers on my old machine.

Whatever this virus is, I got it too.

My nephew is the computer geek. He tells me it went through he bank computers. Makes sence. The wife has been doing a lot of online banking latley. #@$%!
