Couple days ago i had my front door windows tinted and they said not to open them for a few days, so i was sitting at the school waiting for grandson and i rolled the back windows down and then they didn't want to roll up, finally had to mess with the buttons to get them to roll up, anybody have this problem, i used the rear door buttons and they work fine, it's just the front door driver controller, Ideas?, Thanks in advance, Monte

Try to clean the switch with electronic contact cleaner. Best if you carefully remove the entire switch plate then remove the two wiring harnesses to gain access to clean the switches.

I had the switch in the door fail... even if your using the master switch the contacts in the door switch must be good... it was a $17 switch at Rockauto.com... . pulled it up out of the panel and replaced it... . BTW - I followed the test guide in the service manual to determine it was the door switch... .

Unfortunately, it may also be the wires inside the rubber loom that goes between the rear door jamb and rear door. They very often fatigue from repeated opening and closing, then get brittle and break. You can disconnect the rubber loom from the jamb side, then peel it back and look for broken wires. Even if you do not SEE broken insulation, be sure to FEEL for hardness/stiffness along the length of the wire that indicates an internal break. It is, unfortunately, a very common problem.

Also very common for the drivers window controls to have bad (cold) solder joints, especially at the rear window lock-out switch. If you can hit the L/O switch a bunch of times and get the rear windows to work for a while then it's probably the problem. You can either replace the whole switch assembly for about $140 from Rock Auto or you can take it apart and re-flow the bad solder joints.
