2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Windows Up/Dn On Acc. Mode?

Is this normal?

My radio works on acc.

My '96 will only operate the windows with the key in the 'on' position, too. That way, you can add unnecessary cycling and drain on the batteries with the pre-heat system, while making your windows g o v e r y, v e r y s l o w...

That is one of my pet peeves also. I think I read of a way to tap into a different circuit for the power windows, but I don't remember anything about it. Anybody know how to do this?

I put a 1 inch jumper from the power seat to the window fuse :-laf

Windows work with or with out the key.

I thought I had an electrical problem.

In thinking about it, I could not come up with one rational reason the factory would wire it like that.

Are there any "ACC" switched fuses so the windows won't work without having the key in accessory postion?
