Bad weather images

Well got the CD I ordered from Microsoft rather quickly. Just wondering is everone happy with SP2 or did it create havoc on your system???

I loaded it last week, smooth as silk.

Now if you could tell me what to reload so I can view folder properties.

Sp2 Alert

:eek: I just got through unloading the Sp2 update from Microsoft, the hard way. Reformat and start over. :eek: :eek: This upgrade rendered my HP 6l laserjet printer unusable as well as my internet connection. Just giving you a word of caution.

Hi Kat - My hardware supplier has temporarily halted shipment of computers whild they work out kinks with some of the apps. I would wait a week or two. I have a new system coming in for delivery to a customer early next week. PM me then and I will let you know. Also if you want me to check on any particular apps, let me know.

I upgraded from ME (I thought it meant Mostly Errors) to XP SP1. Now it checks in with mickysoft.com for updates to the software. Today it says that SP2 is available.

File size: 75mb-266mb

BWAAAHAHAHAHAA! It took me nearly an hour last night to e-mail a 4mb zip file of a set of house plans. It doesn't sound like it's worth it anyhow.

dialup :{ :{ :{

Tim, you need to get hooked to a cable line. It's uber fast, SP2 80mb download in about six minutes!! :D :D So far, everything is smooth for the last week.

Chris

Stretch me a cable out here then. The only thing available out here is dialup or satelite. Some say it works great, others say it doesn't. I'm not sure who to believe. :rolleyes:

Satellite is much faster than the old dial up, but suffers from big ping, bad for online gaming. Upload speeds are much slower than download. There are some things that I enjoy living in town.
