Hi guys,

I searched around, but couldn't find any threads with windshield pod installs like the ones in the new Geno's cat. Has anyone installed the 2,3, or 4-gauge windshield pod? If so, how was the install and is it a PITA to run the wiring? I am planning on either the Di-Pricol EGT/Fuel/Boost combo in the triple or the Westach EGT/Boost and Fuel in the double. Any thoughts? Thanks.

I have a 3 guage a-pillar pod by autometer. I had a ProPod before this but the color and texture were off some for me and the bottom guage was touching the dash and I did not like the way it fit. I guess I could of made it fit. The autometer has a clearance between the guage and the dash and it fit better on my truck. The wiring is not that difficult you have plenty of room to pull the wires through just takes some time. I have the Di Pricol in mine and like them. Now if they just could get a little more light in the EGT guage they would be perfect.

I got it corrected before ya'll call me a idiot. :D

Are you talking about the one that mounts above the windshield? Not pillar or dash mounts. If so, I'd like to see pics and info on this as well.

Good info on the dash pod guys, but I was actually talking about the one that mounts above the mirror. It looks pretty cool and seems like a pretty easy place to look without going too far off the road, but the wiring looks like it would be a pain to run under the headliner. Anyone installed it yet and care to report.

I always thought the dash pods would be the easiest to look at without wrecking the truck, but was under the impression you had to drill a hole in your dash to put one in. Now I see that is not necessarily the case. Hmmm, decisions decisions...

Pulling wire through the headline is not bad at all. I installed a rear obstacle sensor system and had to go from drivers post to the center of the back window on a QC, just used a semi stiff piece of wire as a pull. Over to the mirror mount should be easier, good luck.
