Well My windshield was taken out today and they reinstalled it with new moulding. It looks good. The guy that did it the first time was new. This guy seemed like an old pro. Said I have a lifetime warrenty on defects.

I'm having some SERIOUS issues getting a leak fixed on the windshield in my truck.



I've built vehicles from the ground up, but never done a windshield (never needed one )



So, I'm seriously thinking of just trying to solve this issue myself, but I've never seen what the hole and trim look like (i. e. , how they fit together).





I consulted my oh so lacking haynes manual and the 7 lines said "Repairing Windshield: It requires some special tools and leaks; yada yada yada; have a professional do it. " Thanks Haynes, I'm so glad I bought your book.





In short: It would be a tremendous help if someone could post up some pictures of the factory edge, the molding, how they fit together, etc.
