windshield washer pump

I checked the fuse and it is good. Any experience with changing the washer pump on a 96? I have the service manual and will start looking in it but looking for some first hand knowledge. Thanks!

P. O. C. I just pulled the hoses and electrical connections off from the bottom and pulled the washer reservoir out. You just have to push the radiator hose out of the way.

Funny thing is, mine would work when it was out of the truck but it doesn't work after I put it back in. Maybe it's just not pumping hard enough.

I had a pump on a Toyota act like it was burned out, worked fine when removed. Problem ended up being washer nozzles clogged with algae.
