I'm sure that I'm not the first one to replace my wiper blades and find that aftermarket blades stink. I've had a new set on my truck for about a month and when it rains hard, they won't flip, but when the rain slows to a mist they will chatter. My patrs man says it's the slope of the windshield and ther is nothing I can do. Does anyone have any help for me?

Stock wipers are just like the headlights, they suck !!!!

Had snow here last two days, they are all but worthless.

anybody try the heated ones from Geno's ???

Wiper brand war

Not to start a brand war here, but I think wiper performance is brand-dependent. I used to buy Anco blades, primarily because they're US-made. Then I bought a vehicle that had Trico blades (foreign-made... China maybe?). Since then, I stick to Trico. I'd rather by American, but man them Trico's were night-and-day better than Anco.

Try aligning the wiper arm by bending it with a adjustable wrench as close to the wiper connection as possible (remove it first) , Use a straight edge to find an initial parralel setting. Then replace the entire blade assembly with the highest quality you can find(bosh is what I used) , and use at least one inch smaller. That would be a 22 inch to allow greater spring tension on a smaller surface. This cured mine.

Almost exactly what RM Thompson said.

I fixed mine with a crescent wrench, did not take it off the truck, just bent it slightly to align it to the windshield. Have done this on many vehicles in the past with great success!

Just get it on the flat part of the arm near the bottom and bend it slightly. Note: these Dodge wiper arms are pretty darn hard to bend, it took some pressure to get it exactly right.

Good luck

I installed the heated wipers about a month ago. Unfortunately it has not been cold enough in Kansas City yet to test them.
