I'v had my truck and TT for about a year now. I have a cab high topper also. The Trailer is a Keystone 21' TailGator (7500 lbs loaded), This unit has a very sturdy frame and axles. When I would pull at around 65 mph, I would notice the whole vehicle would want to move with the wind ( I would use all of the 12 foot lane). The problem was the height and flatness of the front end would not allow the wind to go anywhere. So, I would tow at a lower speed (62 mph). I wanted to tow in OD, but I did not want to lug the engine, so I kept the speed down.
I put a Taylor wing on the topper this past weekend and took a trip to G'ville (my Gators got whipped) I was able to go 65 mph in OD and not have the feeling the rig was floating all over the lane. I have not tried to tweak the wing yet, but I am pleased at the first test. I have the load and sway suff on all of the time when I pull. The rig seemed to tow better in the super elevated curves also.
