Hi there,

I make Winter Fronts for all 4 Gens of Dodge Trucks including the 2nd Gen sport and the 2010+ trucks... These are tough ABS Plastic, they bolt onto the grille to help the truck warm up faster. They reduce the airflow through the radiator, not block off completely. This ensures the inter-cooler still functions. . These winter fronts can be used in temps up to 70 deg.

No Drill. These Bolt on through the grille with nut and washer behind the Honeycomb and bars. Saves your radiator from flying bits of salt and sand and ice when driving in winter. Shatterproof, can be used year after year with no fading.

Price is $36 - $48 Depending on model. + Shipping. I take check or money order

They look nice but I prefer the type Geno's Garage sells. They have flaps that you can open and close depending on the ambient air temperature also they are behind the grill out of site.
I have had people who own diesel ask me how does the truck warm up in the winter when it is -20 daytime temperature out with no covering on the truck. I simply point to the grill and tell them to look closely and you can then see the front is out of site.
This is just my opinion and others may like what you offer. By the way yours are cheaper than the under grill fronts are.

Those are nice Eric, good job and a fair price!

I hear the folks that prefer the "behind the grill" fabric type winterfronts, because of the ease of opening and closing for adjustment. My grill inserts/blanks have two wingnuts on the backside, doesn't take much effort to remove an insert for adjustment if needed, however I usually install mine in November and remove in March/April, never had an issue with coolant temps... When I was up at DTT having my trans upgraded, Bill Kondalay took notice of my grill inserts and commented that I should keep a close eye on trans temp because of blocking air to the cooler, that also has not been an issue.

These inserts allow air to all parts of the Radiator and cooler. . Just reduced flow. I don't make the Bumper inserts mainly because the mounting of them would be too hard to fabricate the brackets out of metal. The fabric behind the grille type I would recommend if you were in -20 -40 temps. I use these inserts to 0 deg. with no problem. Temps stay close to 200 when driving.

I have been selling these since 2001 and have had hundreds of satisfied customers (Thanks to all who have ordered).

Eric:
Happy Customer here! I've been using these on my '03 since it was new. They are very durable and have held up well. Gets down here to that -20 range regularly so I use them every year.
To mount them, I use the largest metal washers I could find for the back side of the grill; and attach them with drywall moly-screws that I shortened. On the front, outside, I touched it off with some small, black metal circles from an unknown source which gives it a nice trim look and spreads out the tension of the molys over the inserts. (Stuff was all in my nuts/bolts bins). I don't know what others are doing to mount them.
