So, this weekend I tried running all 4 fronts. That turned out to be a bit too much for the weather here right now. It was real nice running around town, but when going 75 down the highway the cooling wasn't sufficient. For now, I'm going to stay running the top 2 fronts and wait till the temps drop some more to install the bottom 2. With all 4 installed, the engine did warm up much faster and the EGT was running about 50-100 deg higher. Normally runs 600-650 on the highway, was running 700-750. Not much of a difference and still well within the normal range. The additional intake air temperature really does make it run cleaner though. Trans temp was running about 150-180, depending on speed. The much shortened time for trans warmup makes driving much smoother and allows the torque convertor to start hooking up sooner as well.
