Winter fuel and egts

Does winter fuel generally give higher egts under load?

I tend to see lower EGT's but, I'm sure that's due to the lower temps and not the fuel. You can count on power and MPG to be down though.

I could see it. Since blended fuel has fewer btu's that regular #2, you would have to burn more of it to get the same power.

Hello Double J, you are right on. I'm not at all missing all the pitfalls of that #1 fuel this winter.
