RMTDR 1-31-04 Dyno Day results

Short notice dyno day for RMTDR in Ft Collins

Ok Gang;

Mark it on your calendar.

January 17th is the day and Mike's Custom Trucks in Northwood, ND is the place. I'll be out there around 10:00 to hang around and pester Scott while he's trying to work.

I talked to Mike Adams and he should have a lot of new equipment to show off for the high end mods. Maybe the pulling tractor will be taking shape by then?

This is a duel event to get us out of the house for a little winter diesel fun and also say goodbye to Mike Durako (Uncle Mike).

Mike and family is leaving GFAFB and heading for Fairbanks Alaska on January 31st. Normally, people leave for warmer or greener pastures, but this Alaska boy is happy to be heading home.

We'll work out the details in a few weeks.

If you have questions or suggestions, let me know.

Looking forward to it....

Each time we get together it is more fun and more trucks.

Nice to have access to Dyno and with a consistent operator.

Should be lots of fun.

Should be able to make it. Need to change some plans as this is a lot more enjoyable. I'll let you all know.

I never got to make the last one, still have to dyno the 1st genny to see where it's at these days, but now the 98 needs a baseline run to see what's it currently at if I can leave it alone that long. Such decisions.

I'll work on getting the DRB III again if possible (shouldn't be a problem).

Later,

Wayne

fairbanks bound?

When you get to Fairbanks, drop me a line. There are at least three other active members on the TDR here in Fairbanks. I would love to ride in a bobmed truck and see what I am missing.

Travis

Fairbanks bound!

Yea, I'm headed to Fairbanks. I'll be sure to look you up when I get there, probably the first part of February. The truck is only "mildly" bombed though... ...

Wayne;

You can drive the 1st gen and your wife can drive her new truck.

Get a pair of family radio handsets and she can talk to you all the during the drive... ... .

I will see what I can do. My work annual icefishing trip is that weekend... I may shoot up to the party sat and go meet them for fishing sat night... ...

Josh

Count me in.

This should be fun. I have enjoyed going to these events. . Its always fun meeting new people. . I'll bring A camera. . :D

Right now I'm planning on comming up. I've got that ice fishing party for work, but I'm figureing on leaving there to get to the party at a reasonable time, then back to go fishing that night.

Since I'll be in Cushing already I'll be a good portion of the way there.

Cold beer? I was thinking about hot buttered rum fixings considering the weather forecast. If you bring a thermos, we can make you a batch for the ice later.

Wife is planning sloppy joes for a snack.

Hot women? You drive through Thompson to get there, but I think Tassles isn't entertaining anymore if you catch my drift.

Well I was getting excited to come to the event but I just found out I have to leave on Saturday to go out west skiing. I thought we wouldn't be leaving till Sunday. So I will have to try and make it to the next event. I really wish I could make it,sound like lots of fun.

Rum works well! I'll definatly be bringin the thermos! Something tells me the hot women will be up to me, when I get back to the cities! Tassles... doesn't sound like a place for me... .

Sounds like there'll be a quite a few people attending this winter's diesel gathering in Northwood. I will not be able to make it as I am now in Colorado preparing for overseas deployment, but my dad will be there with his pickup on Saturday. Have fun and take lots of pictures.

Shawn

Well the Fishing trip changed weekends... the Boss has to work, kind of ironic, but at least he's holding himself accountable. I'm planning on comming up. How far is it from the Cities?

Josh

I'll be up for the event. Sounds like the weather will be nice and the company good. Josh it will take about 5 hrs. Or at least thats what I recall. I kind of lose track of my time when my truck is rumblin down the road :D

Anyone going up Friday?
