John, when that fan nut finally breaks lose you'll be surprised how easy it really is. The Espar is a good unit if 110 volts isn't handy, it will get it warmed up and ready to go. Removing the fan will keep it warm after it gets going.

got it off!

I removed one of the fan bolts and got a wrench on the nut. It broke loose very easily.

WOW!! It will be very hard to put that thing back on next spring. The noise reduction is amazing.

I try keeping the O/D locked out unless I get out on the open road, but the fan noise is usually deafening past 2000 RPM. Not anymore!

Thanks guys

Yes, for a friend ,and there nice. If you have a bug deflector it might have to come off. On my truck it would,or you can thim the winter blockers up to fit.

Whoa!

Been there, done that, got the parka!

Fanless; ESPAR (already on my second one, too); and I got a set of Eric's cold fronts.

I like the quality and finish of the fronts much better than a set of Lunds (at twice the price). Spaceace eluded to the only drawback, the mounting hardware is a bit cheap, but easily fixed with something different. Yes, the top two pieces must be trimmed if the bug deflector screws to the grill.

Go for them. Eric's fronts are a great value.
