Well, I opted for the Toyo M55, siped. The 285s are now E rated. But, unfortunately, they don't have a mileage warranty like I was lead to believe. However, a local member has run 3 sets of them and would have them on his '03 if he could get the E rated ones in his size. He said he got roughly 40K on every set. Others have said good things as well. Oh, but they'er pricey!

All I can say is stay away from Cooper AT's for sure. Milege out of them sucks on a 4x4. A friend has them on his 4x2 and they seem to be wearing ok. Personally I will never own another set of Cooper tires after having 3 sets replaced from the sidewalls cracking and one set replaced because at 20k miles they were damn near bald. I guess some people have luck with them.

Toyo M55

I've been impressed with my Toyo M55 tires. They are pretty popular in SE Alaska, where we get a wide variety of rain, snow and ice in the winter.

The local state crew uses them on their trucks and highly recommended them. Also a lot of the private snow plow trucks use them here.

Hope they work as good for you as they do for us!

Look at the Tire Rack for survey info:

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/surveyresults/surveydisplay.jsp?type=ORAT

This is for All-Terrain Tires, go to the bottom of the page for survey results or click on the tire you want and towards the bottom of the chosen tire you can read reviews on the tire you are looking at. They also have a section(s) for other types of tires for all cars, this is a good resource. Used as a base to shop for tires around here.

I have the Bridgestine Dueler A/T Revo, have had them for about a year. On the ice we get around here from time to time they are very good. Wet weather they are excellent, and do very well on any other road conditions. Big plus is they are VERY quiet, NO noise at all.
