Cooper Discoverer M+S are very good here in upstate NY even on ice they seem to hold more than other tires I have run. They are very soft compound rubber so if you run alot of interstate miles they won't last as long as some of the other brands, but if you got to go in the bad weather no matter what these are the tires for you.

I was shocked with the 245 Bridgestone APT II 's on my 97 lots of siping. I swear by BFG but these tires amazed me. Too bad i can't get them in a 255/85/16. When these wear out I'm going with a BFG MT.
