Hey Gary, the offer still stands on shipping you some fresh syrup. We've had a cold winter this year and it's hard to say when the weather will break, but it's gotta happen eventually!
JR,
You're probably wondering how that syrup made out? Here's an update.
Not sure why it didn't get opened until last week, guess we were looking for a special occasion. It finally happened.
We went camping at a pretty unique park, hard to explain. Tried out a new propane twin burner stove, can't have fires at this camp. Warmed up some syrup for a bunch of pancakes. Cakes could have been fluffier but the syrup was a treat, all enjoyed.
But better times were ahead.
Later last night after sunset, tiny red solo cups showed up and it was a swap and sip then sip and swap. Exotic Scotch, never heard of Burbons etc. One was a pecan pie version. Do you see a light bulb going off?
Sneak back to camp, pour a couple tastes of that Ohio syrup into those little tasters, hey, try this! Offer a taste of as I described chilled slightly thick special stuff. You should have seen their expressions. We had people sticking their tongues into the bottom of the cup slurping the last drop. Many funny faces and not a drop was wasted.
Good times. Still got some for us, maybe this weekend.
Thanks,
Gary
