Thanks Guys!

I swung by my friendly RV supply house today and picked up the winterizing kit for the FW pump as well as a bypass kit for the water heater and a couple more jugs of antifreeze. I even managed to remember to get a replacement clip that goes on the outside and holds the door open in the summer. Heading over to the trailer this weekend so I'll have an opportunity to try all of this out. Thanks again for all the tips.

I use the Tee system, but you will still have water in the short pipe from the city water hookup to the tee in the line that comes from the pump.

If you stick something into the one way valve on the city water connector chances are it will blow out the O ring and you will be stuck rebuilding or replacing the inlet on the city water valve. I have done this several times and the plastic ones don't come apart!

I use air to clear out this short piece of hose, then use my winterizer Tee with a hose right into the antifreeze bottle (and the pump) to winterize everything else. I can do the job in about 5 minutes.

Thats way I use the spayer method no more that 5# pressure, not like the 50# or so from the water pressure. Takes care of the inlet city line, and then the hose through the pump. After 15 years with this trailer no problem in this field. [knock on wood] But 5 min ???? why rush.

just my penny's worth
