I got the PIAA Silicone replacement blades and tried to install them this morning. I can't find out how to remove the stock blades. After fighting them for about half an hour I gave up. Don't want to break anything. Anybody know how to remove the stock ones?
I just pushed the little tab, and they came right off... It was almost accidental though, as it looked like the were supposed to move in the opposite direction.
When you bend the arm so the blade hits the window at a 90 degree angle I am assuming so I don't brake anything that you will bend it toward the windshield correct?
I got a chatter on the drivers side that wont go away.
I learned by trial and error on how to get them on. Getting them off was an ordeal. They gave up to a set of tin snips. Once you see how the whole thing works, its cake. You can do both sides in a minute or so.
I love mine!!! It rains at least once a week here in NC and I think their worth every penny... I had a set on my last truck for three years and they still worked like new when I sold it... I highly recommend these wiper blades... .
