Hello everyone. I have a question for all of you guys that have had wiper problems. Seems my wipers on my 1998. 5 Dodge truck only work on the high setting on them. That is the only setting that works. Anyone ever have this problem? thanks , nick

Mine only worked on high and low, intermittent did not work, was informed that there wes a timer involved with the chimmer, check the connection on the chimmer its under the knee bolster,3 screws I think. Kevin

Hey bignick,
I have run into that before on an old Chevy Blazer. Turned out the High mode is on a separate relay from the slower speeds. Had to replace a relay and that took care of the problem
Good Luck

Check the buzzer that works whenever the door is open. I disconnected mine and the wipers would only work on high.

thanks for the information, but just one more question, where i need to check where the buzzer is , i looked but dont know what to look for. And where is the knee bolster? Thanks. nick

Put your key in the ignition with the drivers door open. If the chime works, then it's probably not the timer module but it is easy to find while it's beeping so check it's connections anyways. If I remember correctly it's under the dash to the right of the steering column. The knee bolster is the dash panel that your knee would hit if you slid forward on the seat.
