Anyone have trouble with there wiper motor?
Here are the symptoms; at first the blades were slow and sometime "chattered" across the windshield. Then they would refuse to start without a little tug on the wiper arm. Now they won't move at all. Sound like the motor to anyone besides me?

Thanks Bill, I knew I could count on you to put things into perspective for me. The blades are new so I guess it's $120 for the new motor assembly. #ad

What about a junk/salvage yard? Should be a lot cheaper, if you can find one. A lot of those place have their inventory computerized, so a phone call may be all it takes.

Gene, after you pull the motor take it to an electric motor shop, they may be able to repair it or cross it with another for 1/4 of the price the stealer is asking. Friend of mine did that with the heater blower motor, $49 vs. the over $200 the dealer wanted.

That's a good ID, but I'm still not convinced that it's the motor. They're working again now so tommorow I'm going to do some diagnostics and see if I can pin point the problem.

Thanks, GE

Sometimes they get a bad ground connection. Simply running a seperate ground wire to the wiper motor will take care of intermitant wiper problems.
