Wire/Module?

Hi,

I have a 04 Ram 5. 9, I was just under the hood this evening and I noticed a Loose wire with a very small maybe 1 1/2 inch long printed circuit board attached to it. I can't figure out where it belongs ? It comes from the very far left Main wiring harness near the firewall and the wire is in a harness about 1 foot long. Anyone have any idea What/where this goes ?

That is weird! I'm sorry I can't say what this might be. Can you post a pic??

Far left, do you mean drivers side or passengers side? Left or right depends on your vantage point. If you mean drivers side of the truck, it sounds like it might be the brake fluid level sensor has been broken out of its plastic. Check the bottom of the brake fluid reservoir to determine if the sensor has broken from it location. I have seen this happen on another truck. It sounds exactly what you are describing.

Sorry about the left/right, yes it is on the Drivers side, I'll have a look around the Brake Reservoir as well.
