2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Wiring diagram for Sport headlights??

Does anyone have one. I am away from my truck and service manuals and trying to sort out the wring harness so I can get the guys at suvlights.com to figure out what they did wrong in my upgrade harness's (I am trying to upgrade the sport lights so that the power feed is straight from the batts and through heavier gauge wire). Even a basic hand drawn diagram would be better than this guys guessing. I know when I get to town I can figure this out, but it sure would save me a bunch of time if someone has alread done it...

John what kind of upgrade are you doing? I have seen this upgrade on the Grand Cherokee's where they wired in a relay for the lights to supply batt voltage. Jeepsunlimited.com shows how they did the Jeep with a 4 light setup like ours.

See if this link helps. The instructions I got from redneckdr included the drawings from this link, I believe. Just be advised that pre '99 trucks had switched power and '99 and up went with switched ground, so I'm told.



I just finished up putting in the wiring for mine and I'm just trying to round up the headlights on the used market.
