I don't suppose anyone out there happened to download the 2003 wiring diagram from the Dodge bodybuilders website did they? They only have the '05-'07 on the website now.

One thing I guess I should ask, is the wiring diagram from the bodybuilders site any better than what they put in the service manual? I do have the service manual but thought that they might put a little bit better information in the bodybuilders guide.

The main reason that I am asking about this is I found an unused plug that is bundled up underneath the left side of the dash. If I remember correctly it has 2 wires, orange and black/white stripe. It is tied up pretty much directly above the accelerator pedal, tied up to the center bracing of the dash panel. I will look tomorrow and try to get a picture of it if I can.

Edit: I thought a friend of mine had the dealer look up a wiring diagram or something that was specific to his truck using the VIN #. Does Dodge have vehicle specific information or am I just dreaming this up?

Thanks,

Jeff

the wiring diagram in the service manual is identical to the one on the dodge body builder page when it was there. .

plug might be the trailer brake controller plug [pigtail might be in the glove box?]

the trailer brake controller plug is a blue 4 pin plug and is mounted to the left of the steering column/clutch pedal. do you have the power adjust pedals? That is what I bet it is for.

It is not the brake controller then. The one I am talking about is to the right of the steering column. I'll get a picture posted.

I guess it could be the adjustable pedals but I thought it would have been on the left side of the column.

Thanks,

Jeff
