Wiring Diagrams in general

There must be a lot of traffic on the net over at Escapees. c the server woudn't respond.

So, I'll post here.

I have a 26' Weekend Warrior toybox and I called the factory here in Perris, CA. to get a wiring diagram.

"We don't have one we could give you. Our "assemblers" use "templates" to wire. " I was put on hold and when he came back, asked if I had any question, I could talk to another guy about the wiring.

They wouldn't/ couldn't sell me a diagram.

Why?

All of our trucks have detailed diagrams on most everything, of course for a price.

Proprieatory trade secrets???? They probably don't have a wiring diagram. bg

I asked for the same thing from Keystone for my Laredo. Can't give me one.



I was trying to trace a DC short that took out inside and outside lighting. I finally found it by going to every light and blowing 1/2 dozen fuses.

What makes this industry so special?

Anybody know what governing body controls this industry?
