Hello all

Got the dash guage pod from DIS yesterday and have the air line for boost and the pyro probe wires ran, need to run amp wires to EGT, and lite wires to both guages still.

Will need switched full voltage for the amp to EGT, and dimmer for the guages. If I run dimmer from the lite switch, where are you all running the switched from? Tapping into the fuse box?

Also, what are you running for a third guage for a 5 speed? Is a fuel pressure guage useful, or would fog lite switches be better?

I apologize for reposting an old question, but I seem to only pay half attention

Dee, the plate is finally going in!:D

Yea,

I ran the light wire off the fuse for the dash lights, that way your gauges will dim with the dash lights.

A fuel pressure gauge would be the best bet for you third one.

i tapped into the pink or orange wire ont he dimmer itself so that they would dim with the dash lights. works great, no probs

gauge lites: fuse #5 or 6 ( for got which ), ashtray lite , If auto- cup holder lite

swithced dc: cigarette lighter

Fuel pressure.

Ditto on the above, though I doubt you really need a FP gauge with a 12 valver. Sure would be more fun to watch over fog lamp toggles IMHO, do both :D .

There is a factory bundle of wire running up the A pillar to the overhead console which includes a dimming, and switched wire. This is where I tapped in. I think the dimming wire is tan w/ orange stripe, and the switched is dark blue w/ white stripe. Or just use one of those $3 test lights to find them. Hope this helps. :)

Thanks all, I tapped into the wires in the light switch.

I didnt see any wires under the left Apillar, but I dont have the overhead compass thingy.

#11 next, after some baseline numbers:D
