Hello,
I had a headlight switch quit on me and I want to know if the is a service bulletin for this problem. The connectors on the switch were burned and I guess the same on the harness.

Stackerman, You didn't mention what model truck you have. I have a D350 with all of those running lights and clearance lights on the fenders. When I pulled my trailer it had clearance lights also and my switch burned out. I put a relay on my trailer so that the light switch only turns on the relay and the power from the trailer batteries runs the clearance lights on the trailer.

Hello,
I was having the same problem burning light switches out 2 in on year, and the problem got even worse when i installed 100 watt halogen head lights,
So i installed a Jacobs Electronics headlight brightener wiring harness it plugs directly in to your existing harness and pull the lighting load directly from the alternator, not only did this solve the switch problem but my headlights went from looking like 2 candles to realy bright white light, i don'nt even use my driving lights anymore and i've switched back to standard philips extra vision halogen bulbs, the voltage at my headlights whent from 10. 5-11. 0 volts to 14+ and no load on the headlight switch the Jacobs part no. is 510071-2 1-800-627-8800
