Wiring of Catz Fog lights into factory wiring

OK. I have a 98 3500. I obtained a 97 wiring harness. Problem is the plug is different from the one on the truck. The 97 harness has 2 black and one light blue wire in a side by side configuration. The trucks plug has a 2 x 1 set up. Also 3 wires. I already have the ends ready spliced and crimps ready to install. I just don't want to mis wire them when I cut the 98 harness plug off. I know dodge redid some of thier wiring. I just don't know if this effects this year. Can I just splice the 3 wires with the opposing 3 wires. Like I said, 2 black and 1 light blue. I do not have a shop manual yet for the new 3500. So I am kinda unsure.
