24v to 12v swap?

Hey guys,



I was wondering what you guys do with the non-engine wiring from a crew cab cummins swap. I am wondering if you guys that swap the whole dash from the donor truck(cummins truck) to a crew cab,and if so does the wiring like directionals,and other lighting will plug,and play with the wiring from the cummins donor wiring harness,or are these seperate harnesses. I ask because I am going over in my head what needs to be swapped,and such,and it seems it would be best to swap the whole dash over(while no easy) to the crew. I see the crews I have seen for instance all have the high-beam switch on the floor,and every Cummins donor from 1990 on up it seems have stalk actuated high-beams. Is this an easy fix,or am I worried about nothing?Also is it easy to swap over the Air-conditioning from a donor to a crew?Oh yeah will the fuel tank from the donor fit in the stock location on a crew cab?Oh yeah are there any modifications needed for the drive shaft of the crew?I am thinking about maybe in the future after a conversion of a crew about changing over to a manual transmission(donor,and crew are auto now),and I am sure the driveshaft will need work then. Am I right?Sorry for all the questions,but I am trying to figure out how much it will cost,and how hard a conversion is before I buy into one.
