Wiring the trailer question

I am trying hard to go camping for the first time i a couple years. I have tape all over the bed to drill for the 5er hitch in the AM. Couple things to fix on the trailer and hopefully go.



In the back of my mind, I remember reading in the magazine "Ranch Dressing" that there is a difference in the wiring for the trailer plug on the 3Rd Gen trucks. Does anyone remember if this is the case?

You are welcome. 7 Pin Trailer connector wiring is the same for 3rd gen and 2nd gen. Good luck with the hitch.
