Meltdown in Minooka II

Diesel Fest is here again! Oo. Oo. Oo.

Friday night at the Racine County fairgrounds there will be an 8000 pound diesel 4x4 pull class as part of the “Challenge of Power” weekend being held there that weekend. There will be LTD Pro Stock Tractors, Super Farm Tractors, Gas Stock Trucks, Super Stock Trucks, Farm Tractors and Diesel Trucks. This is a well run event with two sleds to keep the action going all night. Entry fee is only $10 for racers and spectators alike. Be registered by 6:00 PM for the 7:00 show.

The fun continues Saturday right down the street at the Great Lakes Dragaway. This is the second of five races in our DHRA series. Gates open at 12:00 noon and elimination rounds start at 3:00. There is a big event planned there for that night so they will get us done quickly. You can stay for the events there or go back for more tractor pulls at the “Challenge of Power”.

Are you ready for Indy? Come and find out! :)

For more information on these and other area events see HDiesel.com.

There is a time change for Sunday. The gates at DaGrove now open at noon and racing starts at 3:00. That should give everyone a little more nap time after Friday night, or more time to get the trucks ready. We will have enough time for people who want to stop in the shop Saturday morning before the race and get what they need done there if you want. Or buy some go fast goodies! :-laf

Please get the word to Jim Layden and Tammy Mundt. I don't want them to have to get up early to waite in the lot for three hours. Thank you.
