I use a scope myself, 24x for indoor silhouette on the old pre A model 52. The Win 30-06 has a scope too

The 480 is also for bear, and want to go for moose with it too.

As for buying guns in NJ - it's the biggest pain in the rear. Expect to wait at least one month before buying -fingerprinting, local background checks, references from two people that you know, etc. etc. etc on top of the federal system. Most people I know around here, end up buying them elsewhere.

This is the only reason I didnt buy these guns on the spot. They were good deals. I applied for a pistol permit in July, I got it in November.

I'll plead the 5th on buying them elesewhere anymore.
