Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) won't go into gear while running

went through the past posts.



5spd transmission won't shift will the engine is running. posts suggest pilot bearing



truck was shifting fine in the morning, does this happen quickly?



if I put it into gear and let it run would it loosen up?



just go the truck new centerforce clutch and rebuilt transmission 50k ago.

not looking forward to taking this thing apart.

If the pilot bearing was bent a little on instalation it could have caused it to go bad with only 50k. Although that is weird that it worked in morning and not afternoon. Will it shift into any of the gears or have you tried other than first gear.

can get it into 3 but it clunks in. crap not something i want to do. would like to confirm before i pull it all apart
