Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Won't Start After Replacing Filter

Changed oil filter & fuel filter. Started engine and ran for less than a minute and then died. Tried to restart but nothing. Thanks ahead for any suggestions !!!! 01 6-speed HO w/EZ

Did you bump the starter 3-4 times? Turn the key to engage the starter but don't let the truck start. You should hear the lift pump run for 25 or so seconds. Try this 3-4 times. . Good luck, Phil

Also you should fill the filter with clean fuel before installing it. We do this on all our Engines.

Yah keep a little diesel lying around replace filter and then fillup filter canister before screwing lid on if not you could end up with air in injectors not that big of a deal but then you have to bleed them out as well
