Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) won't start then does???? 1999

Anyone got an idea,,, my truck will not start sometimes, not all the time, if it doesn't I cycle the key or wait a few minutes and it will start when it doesn't start my lift pumps (two) don't come on either. I think its a bad connection somewhere but can't find it.....



Any thoughts????

So are you saying it cranks and won't start or that it doesn't even turn over?



If you fill in your signature it will be easier to determine what you've got that could potentially cause problems.

The truck will crank just no power to the lift pumps or injector pump. .

Will this give a code? My 99 (stock) will not start sometimes without glowing it even when it is warm or just shut down (the drive through cannot hear my order without shutting down), My 98. 5 will start at all times without bothering with the glow. This is getting worse, how long do I have?

Can this going bad possibly cause lower fuel mileage?
