Reducing living costs--extreme examples

I filled up in Flagstaff yesterday at the Safeway pumps. They advertised $4. 12, but with my grocery discount I only paid $3. 69. 9. That was the fullest my tank has ever been since I owned the truck.

$3. 95 in Three Rivers. I just filled up my car and it cost me $61. 00 :-laf compared to a month ago it cost $75. 00

Huh. Still cost me $140 t'other day for 31 gal. But then, the price seemed to be slow to rise here in SWVA, and I'm sure the price will be just as slow to fall.

But I'm not complaining. I last filled up July 8.

Thats for about 15 gallons. I had a Dodge V-10 truck in 2004; cost me about $75. 00 to fill up then.

Its still running 3. 85 in Eagle River, AK. Of course we have some of the highest prices in the country, yet we provide 15% of this nations oil... .

filled up yesterday at $1. 009/liter... almost under a buck now

Had my truck out for a 450km run today ----up to my lake lot hauling about 2 tons of sandstone rock for the land scapping on my flat deck trailer----Calgary price was 1. 109 a litre when i filled up. Gas was . 819 a litre
