Wood Working question.

When you buy furnature that is in a box and you have to assemble it there are usually some kind of "Cam Locks". You put in a screw with a head and sholder. Into a hole you insert the cam and give it half a twist.



Can someone tell me what they are really called and where I might go about getting them.

Knock Down?

Knock down hardware sounds like what you are looking for. Take care the type that you choose as some require dilling a 35mm flat bottom hole (same as euro hinges). Try Lee Valley, look in the hardware, hardware joinery section on their web site. http://leevalley.com I would recomend the 1/4-20 quick connect hardware.

They ship from both the Canada and the US, I think they have a wharehouse in NY state.
