Hey guys,

For those of you who are planning on using a mechanical fuel pressure gauge, DON'T,I repeat DON'T, run the line directly to the VP44! Good greif, the noise coming from the pump to the gauge is so freakin' loud and annoying, I couldn't even hear the engine or the exhaust, and I gota straight pipe!

If this has allready been posted somtime ago, ooops, somtimes my brain is like a bar of soap, the more you use it,the smaller it gets, I think I used it all when I was a kid. ;) :) :D

I changed the location to the side of the fuel filter, as per a freinds advise, Thanks Greg, and now it's alot quieter!Oo.

Just thought someone would be interested in my mistakes, so they wouldn't do the same thing I did. If someone would make a eletric 30# gauge, I wouldn't have any complaining ta do,about this anyway. :-laf

Noise? What Noise?

Rob, after driving around in that straight piped uninsulated CTD, I'm surprised you could hear that rattle and clatter from the VP44!! :D :D

Westach is waiting for an order of the 0-30 psi electric gauges to come in. I have an order in there for one now. Anyone know where else one might be available? I am leaving on a 9-10 thousand mile trip and only have about 2 weeks to locate one. Probably going to have to temporary a mechanical gauge under the hood. :( :(

Who knows whats takin' so long, I heard they won't be ready 'till fall, I couldn't wait that long, and it's a good thing I didn't 'cause lift pump went south!
