Since I have been in a state of shock about this, it has been slowly sinking in. Now I am Very PI$$ED.



I am flying the Ensign off my truck in rememberance of the Americans that lost their life today.



Now is the time for blood! I am going to say do not Nuke them... that is too easy. I want the perpetrators and their sponsors to feel what we are going to do to them. I want each and every building leveled to the ground I want their general population homeless, or dead. I want their leaders put on a Rack and dissembowled. I want to turn on my TV and see a smoldering crater where the offending country once was.



I was in the gulf for Desert Strike. I did not like the time I spent there, but this time I will gladly go and defend my country if I am asked to.

My thoughts and condolences to those who have lost family and loved ones in this day of tragedy. I am near the Toronto airport where some flights have been diverted to. As offered by Etobicoke if you have friends or family stuck in the TO airport e-mail me I will try to help. I hear all flights are grounded until at least noon tommorow, maybe longer. It's a clear night here tonight and I would normally be able to see at least a few planes in the air but tonight nothing, very quiet, very eery.

My heart goes out to those lost. I served during desert storm, and wished we had kept on going then, because I knew that that would not be the end of it from that area. I hate being proved right. Unless that region is wiped out, it will never be the end of it. Any religion that preaches hatred and holy war, is not a religion and any country that supports that religion should be erradicated. I fly my american flag proudly and am greatful for my forefathers strugles throughout this countries history. Now is our time to take up that flag of freedom and shove it right up those countries arses. I am a firm believer in the freedom of this country, and today our freedom was trampled on greatly.

To all the members of TDR,PLEASE do not rush out and buy fuel. The prices are going crazy right now. People are panicing locally and putting a hurt on local supplys. Please do not pay any rip off artists $5. 00 a gallon for fuel!!!!!!I just finnished a 13 hour shift(high security around all refineries and terminals at this time). We have plenty of product on hand and all pipelines are up and running in our area. We are under allocation because of panic buying. Hour long fuel lines at local pumps!



We are still here,we are just really pi$$ed now... ... ... ...

I'm presently sitting next to 100K gallons of pentane. (along with a bunch of other nasty explosive stuff) I can see the debris, and smoke from the WTC from the 5th floor here.



When my Wife woke me at 11am today to tell me what was happening, first thing I did was call work and ask if theyre shutting down. The operator that answered said "Why?"

So... . it's all "normal" here. You can bet there arent any bosses, or even the security guard.

Hard to believe what has happened today. I used to drive to Saddlebrooke NJ alot about 2 years ago and always looked at the twin towers. They were an impressive sight. I just can't believe they are gone. Even worse is the loss of life that resulted from these horrible attacks. I hope every terrorist is wiped out on our hunt for the people responsible for this attack. I think the people rejoicing over the attack need to pay also. Damn *******s!!

Yes that was VERY disturbing to see them people celebrating and cheering. Even the children. But I cant really blame all these people because of the propaganda they get. They dont even know the truth, they are so brain washed to hate us, its very sad.

I moved to the US 4 years ago from Canada and now call Texas home. This thing is really p*****g me off. It's about time we quit this PC crap and go kick some terrorist ***.



In the gulf, the coalition made sure that civilian casualties were kept to a minimum at the expense of our guys and their mission. no such worries, as always, from the other sides.



I just hope if this gets dirty the public will stand behind the leaders and soldiers when, god forbids, rubber bags start coming home. This is a bigger problem than a US/Canada problem, it's a worldwide thing. A few thousands morons putting fear in millions.



I served for 4 years in Canada and I'm still young, I will have no problem serving again, if needed, for the country that I now call home.

I work in Manhattan. I watched much of it from 30th street yesterday. I have customers that were two blocks away when the towers fell, as was my stepson. My truck is still locked in the Port Authority. We were all hosed down with firehoses last night because of Asbestos / PCB's when we got off the ferry.



It was / is an outrage. It was a day like I have never seen before. I walked down the middle of Fifth Avenue at noon. No card moving on 30th street.

The plane that crashed in Pennsylvania sure has me wondering. All crash scenes that I've ever seen on the news have large pieces of debris. This wreck appears to be completely disintegrated. Do you think the plane was also carrying a bomb?



Is it possible the plane was carrying a bomb and was intended to totally destroy the White House, which is more of a monument of the American Institution than the other targets?



I think the total destruction of the White House would have been a greater demoralizing effect on the American public than the other targets are, especially if our President was at home.

Doc, i too am wondering about the plane crash. There seems to be no pieces and parts. The local paper reported that the area only has one hole and that it measures 8-10 feet deep and 15-20 feet long. How can a plane of that size carrying that much fuel only make a hole this size? I do feel the pilot or someone on board is a Hero. There is a reason that plane did not make it to its destination. We'll never know why, but we'll always remember that it did not affect as many peoples lives as it could have.

Hard to say Doc. I think not, the plane and fuel load was all the bomb needed. IMO passengers and or crew found out what was happening and brought down the hijackers buy paying the ultimate price. This is really scarey, it was really so simple most of us never even thought of it. It will be very hard to stop this from happening again and again.
