Thought I would put these pictures under there own topic. This is my current ride and at this point in time it is the quickest diesel truck in the world. 9. 21 @138 . This time doesn’t reflects the potential of the truck, the pump used that day was a small 320 cc p 7100 pump, My race pump was lost in shipping for a week and was damaged when I received it. I haven’t got back to a ¼ mile track yet, but the 1/8 mile times indicate a high 8 second run 5. 61 @ 123. 44 with 60’ in the low 1. 20 range. The snow boost cooler is working really well, haven’t found the bottom of its power making ability. The Nitrous Express system is still turned way down also. I am using a camshafts designed by John Russin at Buddha power and collaborated on with Brian at HILLJACK engineering. I would like the thank Jim Fullmer as well as the other two guy just mention for spending hours on the phone teaching me diesel 101, they are in a small list of people I BUG, BEG and PESTER, to learn in the short time, that I have to get this project in the mid 8’s and some day I believe the 7’s, this short list of people in the past has included the giants of drag racing like Warren and the Grump, who have patiently tolerated me over the years.

My back ground is NHRA Competition eliminator where I finished 6th in my division in 2000 and have been a part of the behind the scenes work on two of the fastest comp engine program on the planet. Both inline 6’s . The engine shop that I race out of , is RAY-MAC racing engines in Mansfield Texas, Ray Little the owner has assisted me in R& D and in prepping and assembling my long blocks. Ray was the man behind Rehr Morrison’s Craftsman truck series engine program before Buddy Morrison pass away. And the Buick Indy car engine program before that. Ray and I are taking a different approach in the quest, of diesel supremacy, in that we started with a clean sheet of paper and thru Process Engineering we are working this racing engine to its full potential, We do not believe this engine is any different they any other racing engine, and have shed light on the misconception, and erroneous ideals about diesel’s. This is nothing more then a 4 stroke reciprocation engine with a different fuel and ignition system. I am confident that this engine turned up to full power makes well in excess of 1100+ hp and turns 6000 rpm’s

On a note: you take a 12 sec. truck and shed 3/3500 lb and it'll run 9's too.

ya wanna impress people? run 9's in a 2500 4x4.

Gee, Don't get me wrong, I like the idea of having a fast diesel to compete with the gassers. But this thing is far from a street driver. We have streetable trucks run in the 11's and high 10's.

Just remember Prestonfusus sayings... ... . " he who pats himself upon his on back with his own tongue, gains nothing but a wet back"... ...

Now I said it and don't care. Did you say Diesel? Yeah right.

. . Preston. .

Comp 461, sweet lookin truck. Good luck w/ everything. Now for my only question. Where did you make this pass in Dallas? YellowBelly? I can't see the video you posted, but would really like to know. I grew up in the Big D and my old man runs at Kennedale and The Belly and hasn't said anything to me about this. Not that I don't believe ya, I just wanna know where ya run it at.

I don't care who ya are or who built your truck or how much you pat yourself on the back a 9. 21 is a 9. 21 and that is cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There are plenty of trucks out there now that are "capable" of that time but until somebody else actually does it You the man!!!!!!!!

1. 2 60 ft  Right on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is nice to see a guy putting some info out there and not playing

Secret squirrel with every detail of his truck!!!

I ran the 1/4 mile pass at Ennis, 4 weeks ago . I ran last night at Denton Raceway, running several passes in the 5. 60 to 5 80 range testing different tunes. I ran Kennedale last week, with the same results. In addition, Wichita Falls drag strip a week before that, working with a long time friend Mike woods president of Nitrous Express, and his guys. I’m not trying to one up people, but with all the hype about the Edge truck and talk that its is in a class by it self, with no one even coming close. I could no longer stand by, I’ve been working day and night on this project for about a year now, going where no diesel has ever gone before, running elapsed times no one has as of yet and drawing positive attention to the future of diesel motor sports. In last year, I have competed in several NHRA divisional races in the S/ST 10. 90 classes, and will be the first diesel to compete in an NHRA POWERADE national event. This race is coming up in about 2 weeks at Dallas. Together with a few leaders of the diesel world, we are working on getting diesels in to mainstream racing. , Example being a few NHRA superstock classes. We are working to come up with a mutually agreed upon set of rules and summating them to NHRA. This is a very close to becoming a reality, in that NHRA has requested this proposed set of rules, and asked to that input betaken from a number of people, If your interested, speak up.

The point of contact is ERIC LOWE at NHRA tech 626-914 4761 and again we need to show some interest in this here again are the ideals I have come up with and these are my own. Everyone lets whittle them down to something we can live with and race with

I'm with you Hoss. ANYONE in the nine's deserves a He11 Ya' and a pat on the back! Regardless of what anyone else thinks, anyone pushing diesels into the main stream racing scene is ok in my book...

Comp461 = Dr. P's flag waver.

Truck weights around 3000lbs with driver. 9. 21 at 138 isn't impressive for that weight and drugs. Fletcher is easily in the 9's with drugs and is almost twice that weight and street legal !!!!!

Concerning the comments of the weight of my truck, I don’t have and patent of the ability to make my truck any lighter then any one else. Before you say, well all it takes is money, “ speed cost, how fast do you want to go” Edge’s new truck was a no cost spared project, and its known that there truck is around 36oo lbs Reason??? The little truck’s weight is public knowledge, as is the weight of any truck raced at a sanction NHRA event. My weight with 200 lbs driver is 2928. For about $ 10,000. 00, I could take that down another 130 lbs and for another $ 10,000. 00 another 100 lbs. I spent $ 800 putting a SFI flex plate and tiltion starter to loose 28 lbs, and also because someone call NHRA TECH and complained that I was not running a SFI approved flex plate even thou I was not required to run one. Tattletales, so any one who would like a SFI flex plate and starter nose for a Tiltion super starter for a dodge the footwork is already done, Ray Little, at RAY MAC racing engines has the ability to do it for you

I know somebody

Lottsa jelousy around here over a truck in the 9's. I know somebody who knows somebody doesnt work. Until ya can say I did... ..... Adda boy.

Did you people forget he said this, That his truck isnt working up to its full potential, that his "race pump was damaged" and the nitrous isnt turned up that high, and he possibaly has the potential to run 7's-8's

Go easy guys how fast were you when you first started racing your truck, a lot of test and tune and R&D go into these things.

Dr.P

Looks like i need to pay closer attention next time. The doc has screwed me in the past! No vasaline, just polygrip!
