Worn Clutch Slave?

Hey guys, how do you know when your clutch slave has had it? Is there a indicator or any tell tail signs? Thanks!

Mine Croaked

The cheap plastic lines broke on mine and it leaked on the shop floor. The other indicator before failure was difficulty shifting. I was sure something was up when the clutch did not dissengage fully. When backing up, I depressed the clutch pedal to coast and it just felt like it was still hooked up and not releasing all the way. There is no adjustment on the slave itself, dirty or contaminated fluid will create the same symptoms.

Mabee it is just me having driven my grandfathers 2002, but I cant believe how easy his is! That made me wonder if mine was worn.

YEs, some stock firstGens are pretty light. I'd say as long as it disengages consistently, run with it.
