I would like to know if you guys are having any problems with the side of the driver seat wearing out. On mine i have developed a small hole in the vinyl im assuming were i get in and out i rub some. Along the side there is also a 6 inch area that is getting really worn. I know im not the most nimble guy in the world and i slide off the seat getting out sometimes... . but come one, its only got 9k miles,at this rate i wont have a seat by 50k. Also do your guys doors not close so well sometimes? I really have to slam my drivers door sometimes, and my passenger side aint much better. I thought maybe it was airlock inside but even with the windows down its still a PITA to close... . thanks in advance..... Aloha

9K miles seems a little early:rolleyes: One thing I noticed when I bought my truck. . I had to slide around on the seat, and kinda' slide down onto the road... I didn't want to beat up my rockers. . then I thought my seat was takin' a beatin' because of that. . So I mounted the small Carr steps, and If I dillegently(sp) use these, I think my seat and my rockers will be good for some time...

Get the aftermarket plastic door sill plates and a set of nerf bars. When you get out stand on the nerfs and step down. When you get in stepup on the nerfs and sit down. No more sliding in and out. No more trying to rip the outer seat bolster off the seat with your butt. A couple hundred $ now will save a whole lot more $ later to replace a seat.

The other half/ girlfriend will find it easier to get in and out too. Seem to recall mine ( 5' 2" ) did not like to have to lean in, grab the inside seat cushion and pull herself on to the seat then have to rotate 180* axley to get her butt on it and spin around so she faced forward. :D

The doors just need an adjustment. Better too tight, than loose with wind whistles and rattles.

Good luck
