worn turbo

My turbo has a lot of slop in the bearing. Does anyone know of a place that sells a repair kit?( new bearings and impeller), or a good deal on a turbo either performance or stock? Thanks its for a 93 model copterdoc

Any one of the shops talked about on this forum should have them available.

Ebay is a great source. Search=cummins. (oops, powerstroke)

All kinds of stuff comes up.

I have done business with "raelyn" on EBay and been happy.



Anyone know how to tell if the rotor is "Core Balanced"(As an assembly) or as individual pieces? I bought the kit for my H1, read the instructions and chickened out.

thanks for the info. P. S. I have a cummins in my f-350, not a p-stroke piece of $#1+. The pics are still in the archives. If you do a search and type in f-350 they come up on page 6. It will be one year next month and 18000 miles, still going strong. copterdoc

I just went thru the same issue on my 91. When I got the kit and opened up the turbcharger, it was beyond repair.

I did some shopping and bought a new Holset turbo from

www.usdieselparts.com. for $388.
