Thought this was rather interesting. The murcialago was the worst, then 3 chevs, then 2 ferarri's and the rest were chevs.

what is even worse is a buddy of mine thought he would beat the gas bill and bought a diesel suburban (HEE HEE HEE, sorry i laugh every time i think of it) well can you say 12MPG??? and slower than a turtle

something is not right in that survey. my pop has a 1500 silverado 4x4 with the 5. 3 and he tows a 5000lb trailer box daily 75% city driving and he gets about 14-15 mpg [converting from 15-16 L/100km]



my tahoe diesel gets 17-18mpg so his is not too bad



and the epa doesn't even test the ford SD and the excursion because it is too heavy. that v10 gets not good fuel economy



and if you check out the epa fuel economy website [http://www.fueleconomy.com] their numbers are higher there than what that msn auto thing says, but they are suppose to be from the same data...

yeah, the 5. 3 getting 11mpg? my dad's 454 gets 11mpg...

my 82' plow truck gets around 7mg



It's a 1/2 ton too.
