Just thought you'd like to know that the thread, "Would you vote for Clinton in 2004 or 2008??" has been permanently moved to the Moderator's Forum.

One thing that always amazes me is how one or two users can create a "fire" on the website, then throw "fuel" on it just to watch it burn (while getting a big of chuckle out of it, I suspect), then complain publicly on what a "mean" website this has become . . . . I scratch my head.

98+% of all of our users are STELLAR. They support each other. They support us. They provide excellent advise and input. They create and maintain an unbelieveably postive, helpful website/environment.

Then unfortunately, as with anything in life, there are -2% who insist on making something good as bad as they can for others.

For those 98+% of you good guys, THANK YOU very much! I trust you enjoy the website as well as the magazine. Your input, your friendships, your insights are GREATLY appreciated and respected by the staff and the owners of the TDR.

For the remaining -2% of you, we have a new policy on record that you'll want to review in detail. Please check out the Site Guidelines. Specifically:

2. Conduct. The TDR encourages lively and informative discussion among Discussion Forum participants. But keep it clean and productive. Do not use or allow others to use your subscription to:

2. 2. Post any material or comment that is considered to be "baiting" others into an unproductive conflict online. According to Webster's, baiting is: 1. ) to place a lure or trap; 2. ) to entice, especially by trickery or strategy; 3. ) to attack or torment, especially with persistent insults, criticism, or ridicule. Baiting is considered to be any post that intentionally badgers, heckles, or leads another user(s) into an antagonistic discussion.

I want to also thank to the user who brought this wild fire raging out of control (Would you vote for Clinton in 2004 or 2008??) to my attention. I hadn't been following this thread, and I had fortunately/unfortunately missed the show. My sincere appreciation.

OK, I feel better now (smile).

I'm closing this thread now. Unforetunately this thread went downhill into personal insults, antoganism, and baiting just as the other thread did. Let's just try to all get along and then we won't have to deal with this kind of stuff.
