What was the issue number or your first TDR?

fmj, where did you hear that he was a democrat? Last time I checked, he was an independent. Or reform party member. And I also don't recall him trying to regulate any of the issues you bring up. Just trying to get some clarification.

Amianthus, and I didn't think anyone would catch it. My point is his voting record is along the lines with the Democrats, and in my book it makes him the same, no matter what he runs under. That makes me nervous when it comes to the critical votes on issues like ones mentioned. My opinion was that he ran under the Independent ticket because the Democrats didn't take him seriously as a candiate. Oh yea, the license plate issue isn't any political issue, its just one that ticks me off so I threw it in.

Do you think our country would be a better place if felons could vote? How about if only felons could vote?? Do you think felons would vote for Jesse?

Doc

Who would be Jesse's running mate?

From what I know about Jesse, I like Him. I do recall some silly things He may have done- but I think He would be a breath of fresh air.

If He does run, I nominate Ted Nugent for VP!

Yes I had hoped W would have impressed me more than He has.

GWB is what this country needed. I cant belive there are some many liberial lockbox demorats that are smart enought to drive a CTD. :p

I have more of a Liberitarian leaning, I think Jesse probibally thinks more Liberitarian than most Republicans do, or more like a right leaning, non wishy washy "Democrat in Republicans clothing" type Republican. :p

My initial guy instinct is I'd vote for him, but I'd definetly have to know more.

immediatly after 9/11 the dems and media were 100% behind Dubya. That didn't last long now did it? Everyone who had their hands out after the attacks are being taken care of. Granted there are many and it will take time to get to all of them. I read yesterday they are even thinking of giving aid to those who had "life partners" who parished on 9/11. Yet when I go to the accountant this year, my taxes are better because I can now contribute more to my retirement and less to the government. That doesn't seem to add up, but he's making it work anyway. AND how long did slick willy hold onto the tax surplus??? Do you remember when his whole face filled your tv screen and said "I did NOT have sexual relations with Miss Lewinski" Did the democrat voters **** and moan when their $600 check showed up in the mail this past year? What would have been wrong with Dubya only sending rebate checks to registered Republican voters?? You know there would've been some crying about that!

(by the way I didn't vote and wasn't registered to vote at the last election, mostly because I knew our voting system was/is a crock and my theory proved itself, nuff said)

If some country has a problem with the way he is doing things, I say he parks an aircraft carrier at their front door and ask if they still have a problem. Put up or shut up. If Osama would have attacked them, they'd have their hands out and guess who'd be there first to help? Us, but that didn't happen to them, it happened to us. We get to choose how to handle the counter attack and how to treat the prisoners, not them.

On the issue of Isreal and Palistine, they've been fighting since Adam and Eve and nobody is going to stop that. Thus there is no reason to send our brothers and sisters in there to step in the line of fire.

Just my opinions

There is but ONE main reason many have and amazingly some still buy into the incredibly dumb line that " George W. is dumb", is that they are unable to see through the insidiously persistant effort by all the major media to defeat him---first before the last election and now aiming at the next election. He is conservative, (no, I don't agree with everything he has done---any of you think you will ever agree with everything any president would do?), and that means in the view of the media he must be defeated. To do that they will, at every turn, try to make him look bad. It is easy to choose to try to pin the dumb label on him simply because he is not real glib of speach. That in no way reflects intelligence. In 30 + years of listening to trial lawyers address the court and juries, it becomes really clear that smooth glib speach does not equate to great intellect, nor does stumbling speach negate intelligence.

I have in mind one lawyer who is clearly near genius, has a near absolute photographic memory, but who sounds like he couldn't pour water out of a boot when talking to a group.

To think George W. (with a degree from one leading college and a Masters from Harvard and can fly fighter jets) is dumb, is . . well, just plain STUPID.

Aw c'mon, merryman, ever'body knows he got them degrees from Yale (?) and Hahvad and learned to fly fighter jets 'cause his daddy's rich. Sheeesh :D :D :D

When you are running in a circle where allmost everyone is rich and has influence, being rich doesn't count for much. A fighter jet can do lots of things, but it can't count the bucks in a pilot's father's bank book. It can only count on ability, and without substantial intelligence and ability, the first flight is also likely to be the last one.

The Veep would have to be the ROCK ... and he Duddly's for the State and Defense Depts.

Jesse couldn't be any worse than the others that we've had.

At least if he had one of those towel heads Princes from Saudi Arabia over at his rance ... he could pile drive the baster before sending him home.

As for GW, man what a disappointment. I counldn't wait to vote for him in November ... couldn't drive to the town hall fast enough after work to drop in my ballot. Now that prick signs a law that is blatantly unconstitutional (CFR), and signs onto the largest boondogle I've seen yet ... the Farm Bill or Pork Galore.

I've thrown away every RNC letter for donations I've received lately that pertains to Bush stating that my money will be going to the NRA to help fight the coming court battle over CFR that Bush could have solved with one VETO!

Also, Bush have been flip/floping faster than than a catfish at the bottom of a hot aluminum boat.

My votes will now go the Constitutional Party. Maybe someday we can get this fed gov't back within the boundries of the Constitution by eliminating Social Security, Medicare/Medicade, welfare pgms of all sorts, etc... .

It's amazing how many mistake the slick tongue of Gore for intelligence. He's not even smart enough not to contradict himself. all the way through the elections he would speak and from one place to the next the message would change dramatically. He had no focus and still has no back bone. He's smug arrogant and annoying.

As much as I agree with GW I'd like to shoot his speach writers. He is not a as gifted a public speaker as Gore but he is a much more shrewd politician and has a MUCH stonger character. He carries himself and conducts business like a leader.

No president will be perfect but at least we have one that will stand up for what is right and fight for what he believes in.

Gore hasn't had an original thought in 15yrs.

Jessie I'm not sure of but I have yet to hear anything bad about him. . that's rare fore anyone in public office.

FWIW,

Mark
