Where does all the weight distribution go to if the rear axle is gone? How do those rear wheels stay where they are?

Oh yeah, check out www.keldermanmfg.com for his rig. His ram is a much better idea as it keeps the drivetrain intact. It works like reg flat bed when up, but then moves down and then lays entirely flat for loading. Pretty neat!

That's insane... . and really dumb. I like Kelderman's setup too... . much better use of the truck... . AND it's still a 4x4!
