While that is a very good price for slightly damaged, but fixed engine, I am not sure you'll be happy using an genset/AG injector pump in a vehicle. The throttle mechanisms in these engines are different than an engine with an automotive P pump in it.
If you can budget to swap out the injector pump for an automotive setup, that would be my only solution if I was going to get it. Maybe an injector/diesel shop would trade you for the pump since it is essentially brand new.
These engines can crank out some serious torque if you open them up. I glazed the clutch face in a GM transmission setup with these, clutch fully engaged
